Art is important; art makes a house a place you want to be. Art is a constant visual pleasure. In Fabiola’s words – “I cannot imagine a home without art”. Whether it’s sculpture or painting or photography, or tribal artefacts, I enjoy looking at them every day. 

And it’s not about money. A chunk of coral found on a local beach can be your own Henry Moore moment. A stone found in a quarry can be an ode to my favourite sculptor Barbara Hepworth. 

Art elevates a home, not just in an aesthetic sense… but in a spiritual sense.
