Seseh is just about the only place left in Canggu with sweeping rice fields. This village on the coast has long been a drawcard for its untouched Balinese landscape and its intact traditions. It’s one of the best places in Bali to witness elaborate and colourful ceremonies, and its many temples justify its reputation.
Seseh beach is one of the few in Bali without beach clubs, cafe’s, or warungs. It’s a popular destination for sunset because it is unspoilt. It is also the location of Udara, the largest beachfront yoga retreat in Bali with classes in everything from aerial yoga to detox sessions.
The local wave is also a very decent left, and there’s hardly even anyone on it.
Green rice fields, black sand beaches, colourful traditions, yoga retreats … Seseh is Bali the way it used to be.
